Words with initial capital letters have meanings defined under the following conditions. The definitions apply whether they appear in singular or plural.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
- Account means a unique account created for you to access our Services or parts of our Services.
- Applications refer to the ERUS Consumer App, ERUS Work App, and any other official software owned or operated by Circle Sure Technologies.
- Company (referred to as either “the Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”) refers to Circle Sure Technologies (Pty) Ltd, South Africa.
- Cookies are small files placed on your device by a website or application to store browsing details and preferences.
- Country refers to South Africa.
- Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, cellphone, or tablet.
- Personal Data means any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
- Service or Services refers to our websites, web applications, and mobile Applications (including ERUS).
- Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes data on behalf of the Company (e.g., hosting, analytics, communications).
- Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, time spent in-app).
- Website refers to Circle Sure, accessible from https://www.circlesure.com.
- You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
Collecting and Use of Personal Data
Types of Data Collected
Personal Data
While using our Services, we may ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information, including (as applicable):
- Email address
- First and last name
- Phone number
- Address (Street, City, Province/State, ZIP/Postal code)
- Payment and billing details (where applicable)
- Professional profile details (for ERUS providers), skills, certifications
- Ratings, reviews, and job history within the ERUS platform
- Profile photo and other profile information you choose to provide
Usage Data
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Services and may include your IP address, device identifiers, operating system, browser type, pages/screens visited, session duration, and other diagnostic data.
When you access the Services via a mobile device, we may collect device type, mobile operating system, mobile browser type, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.
Location Data (ERUS)
With your permission, the ERUS Applications may collect precise or approximate location data to enable features such as matching you with nearby professionals, showing job proximity, routing, and safety features. You can enable/disable location permissions in your device settings; some features may not function without location access.
Tracking Technologies and Cookies
We use cookies, beacons, tags, and similar technologies to track activity and store certain information, to improve and analyze our Services, and to remember your preferences.
- Cookies or Browser Cookies. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. Some features may not function properly without cookies.
- Web Beacons. Certain sections of our Services and emails may contain web beacons used for analytics and system integrity.
- Cookies can be “Persistent” or “Session”. Persistent cookies remain when you go offline; session cookies are deleted when you close your browser/app.
Use of Your Personal Data
The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain our Services, including monitoring usage and performance.
- To manage your Account and provide in-app functionality.
- To operate ERUS features: user–pro matching, profiles, ratings/reviews, in-app chat/calls, job tracking, and notifications.
- For the performance of a contract, including bookings made through the ERUS Applications.
- To contact you by email, phone, SMS, or push notifications about updates, security, or service messages.
- To provide you with news, special offers, and information about goods and services similar to those you already use or have inquired about (unless you opt out).
- To respond to and manage your requests and support tickets.
- For business transfers (e.g., merger, acquisition) where user data may be among transferred assets.
- For analytics, trend identification, marketing effectiveness, product improvement, and overall user experience.
Sharing of Personal Data
- Service Providers: For hosting, analytics, communications, customer support, and related services.
- Affiliates: Companies under common control with the Company that are required to honor this Policy.
- Business Partners: To offer you certain products, services, or promotions.
- Other users: When you voluntarily share information in public areas (e.g., reviews), it may be visible to others.
- With your consent: For any other purpose disclosed at the time of collection.

We retain Personal Data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period unless needed for security or functionality, or where required by law.

Your information may be processed in South Africa and in other countries where our Service Providers operate. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers and that your data is treated securely.
Delete Your Personal Data
You have the right to delete or request that we assist in deleting Personal Data that we have collected about you. Where available, you may delete certain information via in-app settings. You can also request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us (see “Contact Us”). Please note some information may be retained where we have a legal obligation or lawful basis.
Disclosure of Your Personal Data
Business Transactions
If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before your Personal Data becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.
Law Enforcement
Under certain circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
